Hi! My official title is the Reverend Robyn Barnes. I usually go by Robyn. (I spend enough time spelling my name.) I use words and phrases like eschatology, normative practice of the Church, and theodicy as if everyone else knows what they mean. I always have at least one real book with me, just in case I have a few extra minutes somewhere (ha!). I stock six kinds of treats for my dog. I can spend a lot of time making connections between science fiction and theology.
I write about the Church, ministry (in more rather than less abstract terms–confidentiality and all that), theology, preaching, a bit of history, and probably more about my dog than you want to know.
I am an Episcopal Priest, a student of history (BA from the University of Montana), Graduate of The General Theological Seminary, resident of the Diocese of Montana where I serve The Church of the Nativity, owner of a somewhat (or more) spoiled rescued Elkhound-Lab dog named Griz. and an avid reader of theology, science fiction, and anything else that I get my hands on.
